Week 9 Home Learning

Ruma Iwa’s Home Learning - Week 9
Friday the 27th of June
Due: Thursday the 3rd of July.

This Term we have had many successes. We have learnt a lot about energy, fossil fuels, renewable energy, writing explanations, making connections in our reading, and lots of computer skills. We have created books for our library and ibooks for our ipads. We have been working hard at keeping fit by jump-jamming and running Bushey way. We’ve participated in cross country, electives, syndicate singing and we’ve shared our goals with you all through three way conferences.

One of my favourite successes this term was hearing from relievers/Mrs Evans/Mrs Cavanagh, who have all been in Room 9 over the term about how self managing Room 9 students are. It has made me so proud to be their teacher! I can see such improvements in independence, self management, leadership, and making the right choices since the beginning of the year. It’s sad to say that sometimes I can sit back and watch Room 9 work like a well oiled machine (for a few minutes anyway). I can’t wait to see what the next two terms bring. So well done my unstoppable Ruma Iwa Tamariki!

So, this week’s home learning is to write a paragraph and one of your successes. What have you been really proud of? What do you feel you have worked on really well? When did you feel successful this term?
We have blogged a lot this term, so if you need help remembering all the fabulous work we’ve done, flick through the Term 2 blog posts. I can’t wait to read what you come up with!
