Feed back and Feed forward

This morning we had a writing session on feedback and feedforward where we gave each other fb/ff on our explanation writing. This is important to know what you did really well and know what might be a good idea to work on.

We came up with this guideline sheet:

Here are some brave writers who are sharing their ff/fb:

Feedback:
- I like how you have explained the writing - From Jiya to Aleezio
- Your joke at the start was hilarious! Also, nice job with the diagrams and the rest was perfect. From Al to Jess
- Well Al, I loved how you used lots of detail to help the reader understand and also how you have used lots of information - From Milly to Al
- You have done a really good job! I like your questions at the start and your circuit paragraph because it has so much information - From Zena to Ash
- I loved the way you made me interested in your explanation, also I like the way you explained why birds don't get electrocuted on power lines - From Grace to Egan
- I can hear you talking to me when I read your explanation - From Sharna to Grace
- Your joke at the start is super funny and your facts are amazing - Sophie C to Sharna

Feedforward:
- Next time, you could put some more information in your paragraphs - From Ash to Milly
- I think you might want to make your writing a little longer - From Jess to Zena
- If you put the answer too early, the reader s just going to wander off afterwards, so don't put the answer too early - From Sam to Max
- Is nano-scopically a word? I found the conductor/Insulator paragraph a little bit muddled, too much detail with not enough explanation. From Miss Matich to Sam

To our lovely parents:
HEADS UPS!
Next week for homework, we are coming for you, with writing for feedback/feedforward. Be ready for us!

  1. I had a lot of feed-back in my report but I had 4 or 5 in my feed-forward.
