Last week we did some moving measurement maths. We had to complete some maths challenges around the room. As time went on, Miss Matich would add hints, but we had to figure out the answers. When people got all 16 correct, they became experts. They couldn't tell us the answers but they would help us figure out the challenges. Maths gets harder when words are put into problems, so we are spending time working out maths that's not just in equation form.
Room 9 are great at maths challenges.

These challenges are brain twisters though its so cool! I can't stop scrolling the blog until I figured them out. This is really helpful for our learning Miss Matich.
ReplyDeleteEspecially for people who struggle in Maths. But that's amazing, it basically just means they're going to learn so much this year. These challenges were hard at first but I realized that it can really get your strategic juices flowing in your brain.
