As much as I loved camp on Thursday and Friday, the highlight for me... cardboard challenge. It was so awesome!!! It was so SHAMAZING to see my group action come to life.
Thanks for the teacher's support and NIKAU.
Everyone deserves a pat on the back for creativity,
your creations were so creative and wow... I'm blown away!
Even though we had judging and some top-notch winners, everyone is a winner, for being such a good team member and giving it a go. I have no negatives after that, only that's over.
So lets announce the results.
For third place we have the Churches with their Fort Domo, a cool twist on a treehouse.
Second we have the Creative Crazy Girls with some very intriguing games. SO unique!
And first place we have the Swags with their pool creeper table. Very challenging!
Well done to you guys!!!
We also had teacher's choice at the last minute. Dynamite stood out for them for their Maungaraki Carnival. It was so realistic, I'd like to ride on it.
And they also thought that the students should have a voice and and have a student choice. We had a applause-o-meter (Miss Matich's arms) So if people we crazy about this creation they could scream or cheer. Well done to the Barbie Smashers for their rewrite on whack-a-mole. Introducing WACKA-BARBIE! Not a big fan of barbies but I absolutely love the game. There was people popping out barbies from these wholes.
That's a whole lot of creativity.
Like I said, if you didn't get a place, you are still a winner!
How creative are you on a scale from one to ten?
How creative are you on a scale from one to ten?
Well that's my action, also thanks Daniel, Jiya, Magenta, Amber and Leo for being a good teammates with me. Really I couldn't have done it without them. And you Nikau!
One more thing... why don't you create your own cardboard challenge, gather some boxes, tubes, anything you need! What can you make, making your own toys instead of buying it is way better!
In fact, we'd have enough creativity to change the world. It doesn't matter if your not in Nikau, or not in the school... What can you make?
Hope you guys enjoyed the cardboard challenge!
Cheers! -Sam
Thank you ever so much Sam, and all the other cardboard challenge crew for making this fun day happen and also help bring more creativity into our school
