A Glimpse of Cold Air.

Freezing at -4 degrees, it was time to end the school holidays with a touch of freezing, frosty fun. I stood on the hill, gazing down below. It didn’t seem scary yet this was my first shot. I got in the tube, ready for it to happen.

Blast off!

The tube skidded down the hill, it started changing speeds, going slow or going fast. It picked up speed going down the next hill. I felt a tiny bit of frostbite yet still astonished. As the cold took over my hands began to become numb. I remember me bursting with excitement and eager for more.

I squealed at some point as if I was a balloon contained with air ready to burst into pieces.

I felt the air brushing my face. In a way, I was still eager although anxiousness took over my    body, which sent chills down my spine. I was going so rapidly fast when I looked around everything turned out to be a blur. Which blinded me a bit, but sent me messages to me try again.

Going bowling with Max!!!

YAY!!!! We were finally there. Standing right in front of strike bowling. I was so excited, It felt like all of a sudden my body started to jump of JOY!!! As soon as we entered we started playing I was so happy that I was there. We played two games it was so exciting. I was thinking in my head, who will get a high score. Well on the first round Aston won (Max’s brother). But in the second round I won, and also got a strike I felt amazed and also excited. YAY!!!!!

The small moment!

“Mum, Look!” I say.

“Shh, lower your voice, Grace.” Answered mum. “What were you saying?”

“Look, that at that girl’s outfit. It’s BLUE!” I tend to get very excited when I see something I like, I certainly liked this A lot! The costume had a beautiful floral pattern, like my nana’s garden in the Summer. This dress was the most beautiful thing I had ever seen! I loved the way her dress would spread out. If there was a fairy on the stage it would have been her!

I loved the show but when that particular cast member was onstage I couldn’t take my eyes off of her outfit. I sometimes would sing along or speak the lines with her. I aspire to be an actor like her one day, maybe even performing on the same stage being so powerful another little girl like me would follow in my footsteps!

 Going to the pools

Going to the pools was awesome because the first thing I did was the zoom tube. Just waiting in line to go down the zoom tube was exciting. Hearing people screaming was like pins & needles in the ears but I didn’t realise how scary it was until it was my turn to go down the zoom tube when suddenly the light turned green and my brother pushed me down and zoom! I went flying down the slide.

MY HOLIDAY MOMENT

YIPEE!!! I was so excited go to El Rancho kids camp again. We put my bag in the boot of the car. As we were going to pick Juliette up I felt a burst of excitement in me. She’s my friend from Karate. I felt calmer knowing that she was coming with us. I kept thinking about all the fun we would have and what we might be doing. I was most excited about horse riding. I couldn’t wait!

The Luge

We got to the luge I couldn't wait. We stood in the line for ever, actually 10 minutes and finally got to go on the luge. We zoomed down. “I’m off”, I said to myself when I was zooming down. Any second now I felt so weird because it felt like my head was about to tear off. I could not believe I was doing it all by myself. I went on the scenic route because the intermediate and advanced  would be too hard for me. After that, I was brave enough to go on the intermediate and it was so fun I couldn't stop going on it (thats how fun it was). I was about to go on advanced but my siblings said, “nooooooo!”. So, I listened to them for once.

My birthday wait

I was waiting until my birthday and it finally came. I had waited all week. I was so excited but waiting felt like being told i’m not allowed to get my ears pierced again. I feel like i’m always waiting. Dad told me that on my tenth birthday I can finally get them pierced. BUT, I know i’ll have to wait even longer because of netball. You can’t wear earrings in the game because it might rip your ears. It’s not safe.

Anyway, my birthday had finally arrived. I felt so happy when it came I got two gifts on my birthday and they were

• A voucher
• A lego friends boat    

     They were AWESOME!
